WCS Athletics

Westminster Christian School provides its fifth grade through senior students with the opportunity to participate in extra-curricular, interscholastic sports. The primary objective of the interscholastic sports program is to glorify God through the use of His gifts. In addition to developing players athletic talents in a Christian environment, coaches work to instill respect and sportsmanship consistent with Biblical values.

Westminster Christian High School is a member of the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) as well as the Private School League (PSL). The Middle School is a member of the Mid Northern Conference and the elementary school program is a member of the Fox Valley Lutheran Athletic Conference.  We offer the following opportunities for involvement in sports programs:  Our student athletes are continually singled out by the local media for outstanding athletic achievement through recognition on All-Area Teams. Many have received All-Conference recognition, as well.  Some, who have demonstrated significant ability through athletic participation have been recruited and awarded scholarships to attend a variety of colleges and universities.

Winter:     Boys & Girls Basketball, Girls Cheerleading             

Spring :  Girls  Soccer, Boys Baseball

Beyond seeing what games are listed here on our calendar, WCS is now using a system that will allow you access to all games and practice schedules online!  By logging on to www.highschoolsports.net and selecting Westminster Christian School, you will be able to access the most current and up to date scheduling information for all teams 5th-12th grade.  There is even a module for you to sign up to receive cancellation and schedule changes sent directly to your email account!  Check it out!
