Annual Fund Giving
Annual Fund gifts, which are primarily unrestricted (meaning the donor allows Westminster Christian School to determine how the money is used), relieve the burden on tuition and assist with Westminster's daily needs. In addition to this goal, the Annual Fund stresses the importance of participation in giving. The stronger the Annual Fund, the better equipped the school is to provide an excellent educational environment for students and to address Westminster's most urgent needs, such as student financial assistance, equipment acquisition and upgrades and building renovations. Your generosity to the school and your participation in the Annual Fund enable current students to receive a learning experience of the highest quality.
The Annual Fund
- is a necessary component of the schoolıs operating budget; this year, a line item of $100,000.
- strengthens each and every program and activity of the school community from academics to athletics to fine arts.
- helps provide competitive salary and benefits for an outstanding faculty.
- closes the gap between the cost of tuition and the actual cost of one year of a WCS education and helps to provide tuition assistance for WCS families
Who supports the Annual Fund Campaign?
Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the Lord your God which he hath given thee. Deuteronomy 16:1
We ask all our current parents, grandparents, alumni, past parents and friends each year to contribute. Your support of the Annual Fund Campaign expresses your belief in the strength of a Westminster education, your hope for future generations and your confidence in Westminsterıs 25 years of excellence.
Capital Fund Giving
As expansion and endowment needs are identified, Westminster asks families, alumni and friends to consider major gifts and pledges over several years toward meeting those goals. Past capital campaigns have provided the funding to build school facilities.
Endowment Giving
While Westminster is still a young school, an Endowment Fund is being established in hopes of providing annual earnings income for specific programs or purposes such as scholarships, faculty development and facility maintenance.
