• Taught 2nd Grade at WCS from 1988-1992
• Reading Specialist at Elmwood Elementary in Elmwood Park, IL from 1992-1993
• Taught 7th & 8th Grade Language Arts at Lincoln Hall Middle School from 1993-1996
• Taught 5th Grade at Brook Forest School in Oak Brook, IL from 1996-2001
• Elementary Principal at WCS since 2007

Mrs. Charity Spurlock - Preschool Director & Teacher

• BSW from Aurora University in Aurora, Illinois
• Social Worker for Children’s Home and Aide Society of Illinois from 1997-1999
• Taught early childhood for Children’s Home and Aide Society of Illinois from 1991-1999
• Taught early childhood at the Centre of Elgin from 2003-2008
• Teacher’s aide in the kindergarten at WCS from 2007-2008
• Currently teaches and directs the Pre-School Program at WCS and has held this position since 2008-2009 school year
